As Jeanette noted, it's possible but not simple.

I documented the process for Delta 1010 cards at 
http://delta.brainiac.com/deltasync.html

You don't *have* to have the cards' clocks synced to make a combined device,
but if you don't the drift apart will become apparent before long.
