In my (and most others) opinion things have progressed beyond the replication of ancient synths. The world of eurorack modular is pretty wild these days. Analog, digital, dirty, silky, classic, avantgarde, what do you want? Lot's of small, one man companies experimenting all over the place. And a few larger, more established companies with a more complete product line.
