This is really begging for an online database where you can add
a report with the features you were able to get working...
and then view everything in a big chart.
someday I or somebody else will get around to this :-)

meantime, the ALSA Wiki might be a good place to report
successes.

M-audio Delta 66 analog i/o works
SPDIF works

Creative SB128 PCI
Analog output (front) works fine
haven't tried anything else

Turtle Beach Malibu (ancient ISA CS4237B card)
analog I/O works
S/PDIF output works
MIDI in via gameport works
onboard wavetable synth works under OSS/non-free, not under alsa
