Speaking of Creative Commons, did any of you see the major article in, of all places, The Wall Street Journal last week about Creative Commons and a new CD being released under that license. A name brand Brazilian artist who expects his work to be sampled and used to make more music. The article covered a good portion of two pages. I think there was a bit of a conversation here a few weeks ago about this sort of thing, and maybe some Residents CD? Anyway, WSJ, now an interesting place to read about new happenings in music! ;-) - Mark > -----Original Message----- > From: linux-audio-user-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:linux-audio-user-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Daniel > James > Sent: Friday, October 24, 2003 7:44 AM > To: A list for linux audio users > Subject: [linux-audio-user] Announcing Gnomoradio > > > http://gnomoradio.org/announcement.php > > A media player and p2p app with built in support for Creative Commons > licences.
