  don't believe all your feelings. I just like the idea of having
different systems... meanwhile, at home, I use linux almost exlusively
(except of games, I dual boot win for that)

  at work I use freeBSD and before that I used number of different unix
system (ultrix, u/ux, solaris, sco, interactive unix) and I didn't see
much difference between them, why should audio be any different?

  and yes, I am quite happy about linux audio development and appreciate
all the work of developers that work on alsa, jack etc. (I've been
following lad before).
