I believe simple instructions are available in the jackd faq on the website. The instructions are there somewhere. The capabilities will enable normal users to run jackd with -R realtime priority. jackd is designed for pro audio so it's very strict about having clients perform on time and if they don't they're kicked. > # Is there a better place to ask those Qs ?
