It works on mine (original bios). But I don't know how to see if there
is a performance change.
Is there a quick cpu bench ?

I know the 1000h have 3 modes. I don't for others.
Does someone have such a laptop on the list ?

I/O Scheduler also use brackets.. don't know is there is a strict convention.
