Yes, I failed to express how worried I am by (ab)using ageing DD floppy drive (the only thing on-board floppy disk controller is able to recognize) when doing my tests. I'm mounting the on-card rootfs in /mnt to start as many of the commands as possible (chroot would help). Setting "Extra external buffer cache" would probably help, but it fails to compile...
