Agere Systems Lucent V.92 Data/Fax Modem (11c1:0620) and hylafax

I'm trying to setup a simple fax server using the pci modem in the subject.
I used scanmodem, followed the instructions, downloaded
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/agrsm06pci-2.1.80~20100106.tar.gz,
compiled and installed the modules.
I did a partial test by calling a phone number and the phone rings. I
supposed everything was working fine so I did not set up a dialup
connection.

After that I started the configuration of hylafax. And here there's some
problem.
Whenever I run a hylafax command there's a kernel panic:

A similar problem was reported on this ml about 2 years ago but no
solution was provided:

My server is a slackware 13.37:

I read many of the many documents on linmodems to no avail.
Is there something else I can do? Is it a driver or a hylafax problem?

Thank you
	maxx
