Dear Marco, I hope you do not mind, but if you can please download scanModem.gz and do the following: http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/scanModem.gz Download the above file, copy it to your linux partition, then run the following commands where you copied the file to a certain directory $ cd `to_the_directory_you_copied_scanModem.gz` $ gunzip scanModem.gz $ chmod +x scanModem $ sudo ./scanModem it should output some files and a directory (Modem) with a file called ModemData.txt. Please send us (discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) the file ModemData.txt. With the information from ModemData.txt we can proceed to give you further advice with regards to the internal modem on your machine.
