Sorry I have memory problems. not RAM nor ROM, just my age.
Ignore my previous answer to Wolfgang et al. (rejected by server due to 
"rich text" items).

Simply read item 9 of Section "FOR THE IMPATIENT" in Web page 
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/post-install.html
It is not forbidden to also read item 4 if the word LTMODEM disturbs you 
in item 9 ...
