Nick . Please try some series 2.6.38 or earlier kernel, which we are now supporting. It is not obvious what your Arch-3 kernel is,

In several reports, the modules load correctly, but when wvdialconf
/etc/wvdial.conf is called, the computer freezes.  Thank you for
testing the package.  Wish I could tell you more.  You did change
license to achieve successfull compilation, but now get these errors.
You may try to force the loading of the modules, but then get back to
issue in begining (freezing).
