Good morning everybody, I have tried a lot but I can not make linux
enable PCI interrupts for my Smartlink sl2800.
I was thinking of buying another one. I gone to the store and they have
an Encore Internal PCI modem the model is ENF656-ESW-COPR. I was reading
some information, and it seems it comes with a Conexant chip, but before
I buy it I would like to hear the opinion of somebody with a similar
experience.
Also saw other models: ENF656-ESW-MOPR and ENF656-ESW-AGPR. The first
one seems to come with a Motorola chip and the second one I think comes
with an Agere chip.
I read about some bad experiences with Deborah Agere chip, so I think
that model would be discarded. What do you think?

Good morning everybody, starting a new day in Argentina, I'm still
fighting against the SmartLink SL2800.
Thanks Antonio for the support.
Today I'll gonna play with the BIOS (again) to see if I'm not
forgetting something.
Regards.

Cristian,
Sorry for late reply, but have you checked BIOS settings?
Change PCI to nonPlug&Play OS or something like that?
Regards,
Antonio

It seems like the pci interrupt for the modem is disabled, I've tried
starting CentOS with pci=routeirq and that just hang up the PC,
then I've
tried pollirq and nothing happens.
Can somebody help me with that?
