Hi All, scanModem recognized me the following PCI slot PCI ID SubsystemID Name ---------- --------- --------- -------------- 02:09.0 11c1:0620 11c1:0620 Communication controller: Agere Systems Lucent V.92 Data/Fax Modem and accordingly with the Agrsm.txt I downloaded and compiled the agrsm06pci-2.1.80~20100106.tar.gz from http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040 So fa so good, I have agrserial and agrsmodem modules loaded in the kernel. However it seems not to work. As soon as I try to probe the modem speed with the command faxaddmodem (from hylafax package) it hangs and the following is reported in messages. Does it mean this modem does not work or what?
