Max,

Please edit your /etc/wvdial.conf

remove New PPPD = yes, and change Stupid Mode = on to Stupid Mode =
yes, then Edit Init 2
from
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0 +MS=34
to
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 X3 &C1 &D2 +MS=34

[Dialer Defaults]
Init1 = ATZ
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0 +MS=34
Modem Type = Analog Modem
Baud = 460800
Modem = /dev/ttySL0
ISDN = 0
Phone = 087305656
Password = mypassword
Username = username
#Init3 = ATX3
Carrier Check = no
Stupid Mode = yes

Let us know how it goes, but please cut + paste your session using wvdial.

Regards,

Antonio
