My ISP is Kiwi online (http://www.kol.co.nz/), but they do not provide much technical information on their site. What do I have to ask them, if I will call them? They do not provide technical support for Linux. I run Microsoft Windows XP on the same machine to access Internet, and dial-up works fine. I can send you output of successful connection under windows. Will it help? Here is my wvdial.out. Usually wvdial waits nearly a minute, before it reports No Carrier. --> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.60 --> Cannot get information for serial port. --> Initializing modem. --> Sending: ATZ ATZ OK --> Sending: ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0 +MS=34 ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0 +MS=34 OK --> Modem initialized. --> Sending: ATDT087305656 --> Waiting for carrier.
