Thanks Antonio, I have the driver snd-intel8x0m and have put slmodemd in /usr/bin. Is there something else I should do. I should point out that my version of slmodemd is for Alsa 1.0.17 and my ModemData.txt calls for 1.0.16. The version for 1.0.16 is not available for download. Will I have to compile it and if so, which one? Thanks, Peyton
