Arturo, If the slmodemd script was successfully installed and upon startup you still got the message, you might have forgotten to add the commands I told you to the start{ procedure In the meantime, as root (su -) mkdir -p /dev mknod -m 600 /dev/slamr0 c 242 0 and try the slmodemd -c ITALY /dev/slamr0 command again. Have you tried to dialout/connect to your ISP? This is the bigger question that many would like to know(including me).
