Just thought there would at least "one" other person who's purchased the
same type of laptop (Acer Aspire 3680 -- with similar winmodem), who heard
great things about linux. And now, there's a lower-barrier to to actually
using the o/s...
And who, after installing the o/s, found that he needed support configuring
his modem, because he'd never used the o/s, typed really new command-line
messages. And who
copy/pasted commands exactly as asked... "do this"
And who just wants the same eventual outcome. Connecting to internet.
