DKMS??? Never heard of it. I'm referring to the last 3 times I ran KpackageKit where SLmodem source as failing to install/build. The update I just ran today did not flag slmodem as a problem. I have too much on my plate right now to continue debugging this. I do not believe it will ever work in time for Karmic's release. It will be about a month before I can get back to this.
