Dear Leju, Did you ask Tapan Chugh to have a look onto your computer ? Tapan looks to be a Linux service provider. If this is the case, I can tell you we are progressing. As of these two days I have been working to avoid a conflict between the 8250_pci driver and the 537 driver. This 8250_pci driver is part of the Linux kernel and is not a dynamically loaded driver. I asked Tapan the permission to remote log onto the system. He should not been working today. I do not own such as an Intel 537 modem (I only own a 536EP Intel modem). So things are not progressing at the fatest rate. I am deeply sorry for you about this.
