 it looks to be supported by SLMODEMD.gcc4.3

Depending on version of alsa if it is 1.0.18 then get:

This where there might be more information needed, ie. modem:1, hw:1, hw:0
when you make the commands

$ sudo slmodemd -c YOUR_COUNTRY --alsa hw:?? or modem:1

Maybe Marv can advice you better here?
