Do
$ find  /lib/modules -name agr*.ko
should display only:

/lib/modules/2.6.28-11-generic/updates/dkms/agrmodem.ko
/lib/modules/2.6.28-11-generic/updates/dkms/agrserial.ko

If there are others, delete them, reboot and try again.

Otherwise the major problem at this time is:
 Modem Port Scan<*1>: S0   S1   S2   S3   Segmentation fault
Detach as much external hardware as possible.
Shut down as many processes as  your can, then:
$ ifconfig
$ sudo ifconfig eth0 down
before again trying:
