Hi I have fedora 9 and used "slmodemd" for my modem driver and wvdial for connecting to the isp. The problem is that my DNS does not work. that is I can browse a site using its IP address but not its URL. The "ping" command also confirms that the problem is dns. -- Regards, Navid
