I am on a newer kernel... which newer kernel? AFAIK there is no newer packaged kernel available. If you are using a non-rpm kernel then it makes little sense to try to have packaged external kernel modules. I suggest to stay with the kernels shipped by the vendor as you will have good support by both the vendor and any third party. If you build an unpackaged kernel by yourself you should also build all external kernel modules by yourself. -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net
