2.6.27 ubuntu thanx for the help with internal pctel modem but after a week of , well, I bought a new usb modem : conexant,series 1063, model 3095, 08-15356 56k. tried to install .deb pkg. and received some warnings: "DECLARE_MUTEX" redefined, "init_ MUTEX redefined. /usr/lib/dgcmodem/modules/GPL/oscompat.h:335:1: warning: this is the location of the previous definition Make[2]:***[/usr/lib/dgcmodem/modules]error 1 Make[1]:***[_module_/usr/lib/dgcmodem/modules]error2 I beleive I have cleared all info concerning pctel modem and removed it from the system, any ideas? reinstall .deb or tarball also available, maybe try .tar?
