Reid, Some browsers will unzip/gunzip downloaded compressed files automatically. Try to block this. Decompression should only be done under Linux, not Microsoft Under Linux the approproiate commands would be either: $ tar xf pctel-0.9.7-9-rht-9.tar or should the file be still compressed $ tar zxf pctel-0.9.7-9-rht-9.tar.gz Do not send *.doc files to this List.
