Frank,
Would you please explain in detail, what you did.
Do include full package names, kernel-version, Distro etc.
 Jacques & Ilan,
Sat PM is likely the first time I'll have to spend on the
11c11040 issues, and Franks answer will help greatly, as I don't have
the hardware

Thank you all.

The dkms-agrsm-2.1.80-4mdv2009.0.i586.rpm does finally build and work on
unpatched kernel-modules.

You have to apply the patch included in the agrsm package.
Please test and report back. Others have reported problems under
current kernels.

Hello there, I need a little help, please!

I want to get the 11c11040 chip runnung on my MSI notebook with
mandriva2009.0. Got it working on 2008 a time but now the MAKEFILE (make module) does not build the missing agr*.ko modules in the agrsm-20080721 directory but only the kernel-modules. The (make install) does quit with *.ko missing error. Even the dkms-package quits at boot-time with error
10.

Do I have to place the sources into a special place to have them
recognised by make modules or do you have any other suggestions?

GNU Make 3.81
gcc (GCC) 4.3.2
kernel 2.6.27.5-2mnbcustom
Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.18rc3

Thanks in advance and best regards.
