==============
     Auto
==============

In scripts/ directory run automate.sh.
$ cd scripts/
$ ./automate.sh

You can supply the option to be passed to martian_modem on loading like
$ ./automate --mode 0660

See ./automate.sh --help for more options.

Look in the scripts/ folder of martian-20080625/ folder. There is a program called automate.sh, you may run it, except I believe it is designed to run on Fedora/OpenSuse/Mandriva or other rpm based distro. IT might need a little tweaking to work for Ubuntu.

chkconfig might/might not work on Ubuntu?

service=martian
sed -e "s/%Options%/$options/" -e "s/%TTY%/$tty/" martian.in > martian
install -m 744 -D $service /etc/init.d/$service
/sbin/chkconfig --add $service
/sbin/chkconfig $service on

I modified it a bit to work on Slax (Slackware based live cd), but it is different from Ubuntu in some ways. they use /etc/rc.d/ only and Ubuntu uses more runlevels like Red Hat/Fedora.
