Daniel, Support type needed or chipset: Agere.SV2P I am not 100% certain as to which driver to use because sometimes the 11c11040 driver is recommended for this modem, but I would recommend that you try before that http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/agrsm-20080626.tar.gz extract it $ tar -zxvf agrsm-20080626.tar.gz $ cd agrsm/ $ make all $ sudo make install try to sudo modprobe agrmodem and sudo modprobe agrserial fire up another terminal and run $ sudo wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf Report back if above advice helped or you need to get further advice.
