I did it all:
- I got slmodemd (version 2.9.11) from
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/smartlink/SLMODEMD.gcc4.2.tar.gz
- I checked the slmodemd version
- I did slmodemd -c USA --alsa hw:0,6
- I did wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.com and it recognized the right
configuration (I also wrote my own information at there)
But when I tried to wvdial, I got this:

--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.60
--> Cannot get information for serial port.
--> Initializing modem.
--> Sending: ATZ
ATZ
OK
--> Sending: ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
OK
--> Modem initialized.
--> Sending: ATDT060110
--> Waiting for carrier.
ATDT060110
BUSY

If I try with minicom to send ATA, then I get "NO CARRIER". Of course I
am getting a free line at modem ;) so, BUSY and NO CARRIER have nothing
to do with the line.
How can I provide more info about my issue??
