Hello everybody, The above modem was working fine with Ubuntu 8.04 & Kernel 2.6.24-1. I upgraded to ubuntu 8.10. The modem still works with Kernel 2.6.24-1 but fails with Kernel 2.6.27-7-generic. I manage to succesfully build the patched snd-hda-intel.ko file. However I cannot build the agrsm driver (see below): sudo make module make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build/ SUBDIRS= modules make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.27-7-generic' CHK include/linux/version.h CHK include/linux/utsrelease.h make[2]: *** No rule to make target `kernel/bounds.c', needed by `kernel/bounds.s'. Stop. make[1]: *** [prepare0] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.27-7-generic' make: *** [module] Error 2 I tried with both agrsm-20080808 and agrsm-20080721. Am I doing something wrong? Has anybody succesfully build this driver for this kernel? Any help will be highly appreciated. Sincerely. George from Greece.
