Bjorn,

Which agrsm package should be used? Support for 11c1:048f is included
in the agrsm init codes.

Giogos

For System
CPU=i686,  Debian GNU/Linux lenny/sid Linux version 2.6.26-1-686
with modem
------
Communication controller: Agere Systems V.92 56k WinModem "
CLASS=0780
PCIDEV=11c1:048f
SUBSYS=1848:0001
IRQ=5
IDENT=Agere.SV2P
--------

To setup for compiling, you must first install packages for:
 linux-headers-2.6.26-1
 linux-headers-2.6.26-1-686
 kernel-kbuild-2.6-26

Once downloaded through www.debian.org -> packages & search,
they can be coinstalled with
$ sudo dpkg -i *.deb

The modem specific software is at
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/   . Get
the:
HOWTO-Agere-11c11040-HDA.html
agrsm_howto.txt
 agrsm-20080626.tar.gz
 agrsm-20080808-ALSA18-PRECOMP.tar.bz2

MarvS

Follow the the HOWTO-Agere-11c11040-HDA.html, which is appliable to your
PCIDEV=11c1:048f also (we hope). There is yet to be a success report
for this modem

  Compiling resources for a driver module pair: agrmodem.ko + agrserial.ko
  Use the  agrsm-HDA-20080721-ALSA15.tar.bz2
  Read the agrsm_howto.txt. For 11c11040 chips, also
