Hi. I've been directed here from various Ubuntu forums. I'm new to
Ubuntu and am having a real hard time getting my modem to work on the
computer. I've done a lot of research on this myself but haven't
found a way to get the modem to work. I would appreciate any help.

or comparable Repository for other Linux distros.
When compiling ALSA drivers, the utility "patch" will also be needed.
If a driver compilation fails, with message including some lack of some FileName.h (stdio.h for example), then
