Marvin, Thanks for the help. I finally dealt with the connection following precisely steps you wrote. So now I can connect. I have automated slamr and ungrab-winmodem modules at start up but I can't automate creating the port. There is no slamr.txt in scanmodem folders neither in slmodemd driver folders you wrote. Would you send it to me, please. Thanks
