Modem connects, then disconects quickly. When it connects it returns error 19.

(from man pppd)
       19 We failed to authenticate ourselves to the peer.

I have found this from ModemData.txt that you sent to us,

Modem interrupt assignment and sharing:
 16:          1   IO-APIC-fasteoi
 --- Bootup diagnostics for card in PCI slot 02:01.0 ----
[   21.152602] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:01.0[A] ->
GSI 22 (level, low) -> IRQ 16
[   21.152885] 0000:02:01.0: ttyS1 at I/O 0xec00 (irq = 16)
is a 16550A

It might be interfering with the connection. Hope that Marv, Jacques or other user can tell us here if this Modem interrupt is causing problems or not.

I will send this to list in hopes that they see something that I missed and help fix what is causing the problem.

Regards,

Antonio
