just a simple typo, that's all- the command is 'make oldconfig', not
'make oldconfig/' You have a trailing slash that shouldn't be there :)

I Believe I am using correct kernel-source.
Attachment shows where hda_codec.c was modified.
Would you have any clues? Thanks.
