Hi, In my Thinkpad x61 tablet with Kubuntu Hardy (8.04) (kernel 2.6.24-19-generic) dial up modem is not working (It works in Vista. Manufacturer: CXT, Location: Internal HD Audio bus). ScanModem tools says (ModemData.txt attached) that "Support type needed or chipset: hsfmodem" After installing Linuxant driver (version 7.68.00.12full), it gives the following message "Warning: no device detected by hsf driver - HDA modems may require reboot" However, rebooting does not help and wvdial cannot find the modem. I have also tried by installing linuxant modified alsa driver from http://www.linuxant.com/alsa-driver/ It helped to bring back the sound but modem is still not working. Any pointer to resolve this issue would be highly appreciated. Thanks and regards Golam
