My bet is that at http://www.linmodems.org you clicked some time ago the
word discussion in "discussion [unsubscribe]" which subscribed you to
the DISCUSSION list while now you are clicking unsubscribe in
"announcements-only [ unsubscribe]"
thus trying to unsusbcribe to an OTHER "electronic forum".
