Willow,

there are some packages that might be of help

At http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/

there is a file

http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/11c11040.txt

that recommends that you get

http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/agere_modem.tar.gz

$ tar -zxvf agere_modem.tar.gz
$ make module
$ sudo make install

1) agere_modem.tar.gz - source code derived worked up nu Jose Luis,
works with 2.6.21 and 2.6.22 with
  works with ALSA version less than 1.0.14, Check your ALSA version with:
  $ aplay  aplay --version
2) hda_symbols.patch - apply to 1) for ALSA version 1.0.14 and later.

Also get the patch above

http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/hda_symbols.patch

since your alsa is ``The ALSA verion is 1.0.15''

Report back if you have questions.

Regards,

Antonio
