ALC267 and ALC268 : of those two codecs, only the ALC267 can control a modem-DAA module on hda bus. Thus a 11c11040 cannot be wired up to a ALC268. Does it make sense to throw in 2 hi-def sound codecs ? the 11c11040 is maybe wired to the 82801 hda bus. please type "amixer info" to verify ! greetinx --F. Marvin Stodolsky schrieb:
Bill, Mandriva has a package which should support your 11c11040 chipset. Search the Mandriva repository for agrsm packages and get the agrsm_howto from http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/
