ALC267 and ALC268 :

of those two codecs, only the ALC267 can control a modem-DAA module on hda bus.

Thus a 11c11040 cannot be wired up to a ALC268. Does it make sense to throw in 2 hi-def sound codecs ?
the 11c11040 is maybe wired to the 82801 hda bus.

please type "amixer info" to verify !
