Sojust:$ sudo dpkg -i linux-image-2.6.21.0-22_2.6.21.0-22_i386.debReboot under the new 2.6.21.0-22 kernel choice,and test the modem according to the agrsm_howto.txt starting with 1) therein. With respect to the ZOOM modem, try first setting down all otherfunctions which may be competing for resources.
