I have such a modem in an MSI MegaBook M662-247CA
MSI might be quite approachable for this, since this laptop is orginally
sold without OS, and they provide some Linux drivers at the following link:
http://global.msi.com.tw/html/popup/nb_linux/content.htm --I contacted
them last fall, and they indicated their Taiwan team was still working
on drivers for the webcam, bluetooth, and modem.
