Artur, Do # su - root # ifconfig will probably include an eth0 or some wireless wlan0 section. These must be shut down before starting PPP dialout, or their is a CONNECT, but Domain Name Services (DNS) fail. So as necessary: # ifconfig eth0 down # inconfig wlan0 down checking with # ifconfig a remaining loopback "lo" is OK. By going into the Control Panel equivalent, you can stop the bootup setting of unwanted COMM channels. Note that the slamr driver will only with in your current i686 emulation, and not in x86_64 mode.
