Hi,
I will need more information in order to propose a way to solve the
problems. Please send to support@xxxxxxxxxxxx the output of 'dumpdiag'.
Type the following in a root shell:
---
hsfconfig --dumpdiag
---
Just send us the generated file located in /tmp ('hsfdiag.txt').

In short, it works.
I noticed that hsfconfig --info shows my country as USA rather than Australia. Doesn't seem to make any difference. -- update: reinstall sets it as Australia. I'm testing out the audio card. Would like to be able to get sound capture working. Microphone seems Very Soft with quite a bit of buzz. No line-in on this laptop either. Would compiling with HDA support help audio performance at all? or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Also hsf modules interferes with ACPI. hsfstop lets me hibernate then I run hsfconfig next time I want to use the modem. I'll go and read about patches next time I get online.
So, still working on this.
