Javidan, Please refer to the page http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/post-install.html If you used wvdial, then take a look here, http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/wvdial.html Which driver did you install? SLMODEMD.gcc4.X? or hsfmodem? You need to post actual messages, why don't you do the following: $ script wvdiallog.txt $ wvdial $ exit script stopped and send wvdiallog.txt to discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Thanks, Antonio On Feb 6, 2008 2:15 PM, Javidan Guliyev <q.cavidan@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > I tried this, its working, modem initialized and dialing, I'm getting > connection sounds on line by other phone, but it disconnects at half, > It seems a problem with initialize command problems which have been > recognized by wvdialconf > > Is there any way to locate where is problem? > > -----Original Message----- > From: Marvin Stodolsky [mailto:marvin.stodolsky@xxxxxxxxx] > > Sent: Thursday, February 07, 2008 5:27 AM > To: Javidan Guliyev > Cc: DISCUSS@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Re: RE: Javidan Guliyev, Azerbaijan Ubuntu 7.10 LTS kernel > 2.6.22-14-generic > > Javidan > > > deviceID:3155 > > vendor:1543 > is consitent with your file /proc/asound/codec0/codec#1 > Vendor Id: 0x15433155 > This is a NEW chipset for us. > > From hep2.technion.ac.il/linmodems/packages/smartlink/ get the > SLMODEMD.gcc4.1.tar.gz > Browse the documentation.
