I did what you wrote. But the wvdial operation shows me that:

Scanning your serial ports for a modem.

Modem Port Scan<*1>: S0   S1   S2   S3


Sorry, no modem was detected!  Is it in use by another program?
Did you configure it properly with setserial?

While kppp defines modem but it stops on "initializing" step. I tried
the query modem operation. It worked though didn't show any notes in ATI
strings.
What's then?
