Hello,
I have booted with the acpi=off option and I have disabled bios sound.
Modules are loaded (agrmodem and agrserial).
- sudo ln -s /dev/ttyAGS3 /dev/ttySAGR
- sudo ln -s /dev/ttyAGS3 /dev/modem
- sudo wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf
This gave me the following output:
> baso@vast:~$ sudo wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf
> Editing `/etc/wvdial.conf'.

So it looks as if the modem is finally detected.
But is there no way to get it working with sound and acpi on?
