Peter,
We have no information on the chip used in your modem. It comes from a
Taiwan based manufacturer who probably uses one of the two leading
components.
This is what scanModem (ModemData) tells you.
Try the Conexant modem first, and if it does not work, REMOVE IT and try
the Smartlink slmodemd package.
IF ONE OF THEM WORKS, PLEASE INFORM US !!
