The modem is supported by the Smartlink slamr driver
plus the slmodemd helper utility. Read the
Smartlink.txt and Modem/YourSystem.txt for follow through guidance

get the slamr-2.6.22-14-generic.tar.gz with compiled drivers.
Under Linux
$ tar zxf slam*.tar.gz
$ cd slamr-2.6.22-14-generic
Browse the files and run the
$ sudo ./setup
